NASA Region 1 Virtual Conference

April 10 & 11, 2021

The North American Saxophone Alliance Region 1 conference will be held virtually via Zoom and other platforms. We are excited for the opportunities available through this format and look forward to presenting a diverse range of programming from our members.

Registration is free for all NASA Region 1 members!

Performances and Panels

Premiere performances, panels, and more will be presented by Region 1 members and special guests. Presenters are encouraged to include a diverse range of voices in their content, including but not limited to performers, composers, and panelists who are women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and representatives of other communities. Special consideration will be given to presentations which reflect perspective gained from the global events of 2020. More information can be found here.

Masterclasses will give college and high school students the opportunity to perform for the region's master teachers. Applications to perform on a masterclass will be made available in March.

Competitions juried by a distinguished national panel are open to all Region 1 students in four divisions: High School Classical and Jazz, and College Classical and Jazz. More information on the competitions can be found here.

Social Events

Social events such as meals, talkbacks, and other networking opportunities will be planned to encourage connection to last beyond our virtual space as we move to an in-person NASA conference in 2022.

Vendors and Sponsorship

Region 1 vendors will have the opportunity to sponsor segments and have their business showcased to conference participants. If you are a vendor interested in learning more, please submit an inquiry here.

NASA Region 1 would like to thank Beacock Music for their sponsorship and support of the competition.
